Atheist having spiritual experience

It was around 11 AM. We reached Delhi. It was my first trip with her. It was kind of unplanned. But then we highlighted the places including historical places, temples. We also extended our trip and decided to visit Red Fort, Taj Mahal, Mathura, Vrindavan.  Being a religionless, non-believer, atheist, I am not much interested to visit temples for worship. But yes I do visit temples just to understand the old architect. Since Mathura and Vrindavan do have a mythological background, I just wanted to know how these towns were evolved due to religion-based tourists. The same goes for the Taj Mahal. For me, the Taj Mahal and Red Fort are beautiful historical places that were constructed by highly skilled amazing but exploited laborers. These historical sites are the places where generations of laborers had faced exploitation. Therefore I used to think that I will never feel good at these sites.  But that didn't happen. Not exactly a 'thank you' post but it's something that I really wanted to say..  One year ago, I was not stable mentally partially because of health issue but more than that I was not happy with me, not satisfied with anything. Despite having great academic success and good progress, I wasn't happy with anything. In fact, I was becoming a machine that has two roles: do work regularly and stop when fuel exhausts. For the last four-five years, I started isolating myself. People used to talk, used to make me happy but I preferred to be an isolated person, I preferred to talk less. Everyone has problems. I started looking at these problems only. Friends professors everyone was telling me that you have a good future and you are destroying it. I was involved deeply (I am still involved) in my ideas, principles, ideologies. And I was unable to look beyond that. And then covid happened, lockdown imposed. And I was like what will happen now?
