Palestine has filed a request to Hague to investigate Israeli war crimes during the 50 day war in Gaza with letter of accession to International Criminal Court.

Palestine president Mahmoud Abbas signed the request to International Criminal Court to investigate the use of force of IDF.

We guard our people in every place, and the crimes committed against our people in eliminating them, settlements, destruction, and aggression against Gaza, they haven’t passed statutes of limitation and those who commit the crimes need to deal with the results - Erekat (Chief Palestinian Negotiator). He submitted the letters of accession to 20 international treaties including the Rome Statute.

And on the other hand spoke person of IDF said that
“We don’t feel threatened. We know our Israeli Defense Force. We know the way they act. Know the way we investigate ourselves. So this is not our concern. This their concern”

Hamas is Abbas’s principal challenger on Palestinian political scene, but he wanted to secure its approval before making final decision on ICC membership.
ICC membership is strong weapon but in actual it is double edged. Palestine could give the time period for investigate they could also define the area but cannot dictate investigate.  So now Abbas have to express his strong feeling because he has two strong enemies, one is based on principal another is enemy of principle.

But why did Palestinian target Force of country? Because force is the mirror image of nation so if you succeed to prove the one’s army faulty then you can easily get support of people of that nation.
